They rejoined to return the Golden Fleece to Corinth. During that adventure, Jason rekindled his desire to rule Corinth. Later, Jason fell in love with Alcmene. Jason had to give up his throne to marry a commoner. Jason was able to choose who to pass the throne to. Jason chose Iphicles, Alcmene's son and Hercules half-brother.
Alcmene died a year later.
Deianeira, Hercules first wife, died with her children in a fireball sent down by Hera.
