Callisto watched her parents die at the hands of Xena, the Conqueror of Nations, as a young girl. But then again, Callisto ended up slaying her own family so it is hard to say who killed her parents. Watching her parents die, made Callisto grow up to become a fearsome warlord in her own right. With only one thing on her mind, complete destruction of Xena.

As an immortal, Callisto wanted to be a God. After Xena and Callisto strike a deal and Callisto turns on Xena and joins forces with Velasca, who is a God, to destroy Xena and Gabrielle. Callisto steals some Ambrosia from Velasca and becomes a God herself.

After several fights with Xena, Callisto finally sided with Dahak and his evil daughter Hope, Gabrielles daughter also. Callisto wants to continue to live, but unfortunately, at that moment, Xena stabs her during a ceremony intended to bring Dehak into the world.
